Hi! My Name Is Tyne...

Tyne Markle - B.A., MACP, R.P. (Qualifying)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it is important to find someone you feel comfortable with. Here is a little about me to help you decide if we might be a good fit.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I earned my Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trent University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have additional trainings in the areas of OCD, couples counselling/relationships, anxiety, and more.
I have worked with clients across community, educational, and social service settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, addiction recovery, housing insecurity, academic stress, relationship challenges, and institutionalization and reintegration experiences. I recognize the strength and vulnerability it takes to seek support and show up for my clients in an authentic, person-centred, and grounded manner.
Understanding that trust is built over time, I approach the therapeutic relationship with patience, authenticity, and care, allowing space for meaningful connection to develop. I value a collaborative approach to therapy and work to foster an environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
