Hi! My Name Is Cassandra...

Cassandra Umbriaco - B.A., MACP, R.P.
Registered Psychotherapist
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and it is important to find someone you feel comfortable with. Here is a little about me to help you decide if we might be a good fit.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, work stress, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in supporting women through periods of overwhelm, burnout, emotional stress, and changing life roles. I also have experience working with individuals coping with chronic illness, including cancer, as well as their loved ones.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, person-centred, and trauma-informed. I draw from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), self-compassion approaches, inner child work, and nervous system regulation strategies. I believe therapy should feel grounding, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs—a space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges.
I am passionate about helping clients deepen emotional awareness, build self-compassion, and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing and growth.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in communications, which continues to inform my thoughtful, relational approach with clients.
