WHO WE HELP
Care for each season of life to help you move forward.

Adult Psychotherapy
Sometimes life feels heavier than you know how to explain, with overthinking, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or holding it together for everyone else while quietly wondering how much longer you can keep going.
Here is a place to set it down and find your way forward, at a pace that feels right.

Child & Youth Psychotherapy
Big feelings can be hard to explain. Your child may seem more anxious, easily overwhelmed, or withdrawn, or your teen may be pulling away just when you'd love to feel more connected.
Through creative activities, play, and conversation, therapy helps them understand their feelings and build confidence.

Couples & Family Psychotherapy
Even though we are wired to connect as humans, relationships come with their challenges. Couples therapy helps you improve communication, rebuild trust, and find your way back to a deeper connection.
Family therapy provides everyone a place to feel heard, understood, and supported.

WHAT THERAPY LOOKS LIKE
What you can expect.
You might be wondering what actually happens in therapy, and whether it will make a difference in your everyday life. Therapy helps you understand yourself more clearly: the patterns that keep you stuck, and the strengths that help you move forward. Along the way, you build simple tools you can keep using long after the session ends.
A real conversation with a therapist who listens closely and remembers what matters to you
Practical tools you can use in everyday life, between sessions too
A space where you can share what's really on your mind, without judgement
A pace that fits you with space and time to slow down, breathe, and process.
Gain a clearer understanding of the patterns that keep you stuck, and the strengths that move you forward
Integrative, evidence-based approaches that fit for you and your goals
THERAPY APPROACHES
Evidence-Based. Personal
To You.
› Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)
› Cognitive Processing (CPT)

No two people heal the same.
As a client-centred practice, your therapist will draw on the approaches that fit you, your story, your goals, and your pace. Tap any approach here to see what it involves and who on our team offers it.
OUR APPROACH
Moving from hurt to hope.
As humans, we are wired for connection at every age, and that connection is the heart of how we work at Wellness Counselling Centre. It begins with someone who listens to really hear you.
From there, the four parts of our process weave in and out of each other as you move from hurt to hope, at your pace, without judgement, whether you come on your own, as a couple, or as a family.
H - Hear
Your Story Matters.
We provide an uncomplicated, human-to-human space where you can speak without filter and just be yourself. Our first priority is to truly understand what you are carrying, while equipping you with the immediate tools and resources you need to feel grounded from day one.
O - Observe
A Clearer View Of What Is Happening.
Together, we will take a gentle, curious look at what is happening beneath the surface. By noticing your everyday patterns, emotional responses, and relational dynamics, we can make sense of why things feel the way they do, giving you a clearer map of where you are.
P - Process
Find Helpful Ways Toward Change.
This is where we roll up our sleeves with you. Together, we will work through the heavy stuff, untangle difficult experiences, and repair what feels broken. We will help you practice new perspectives and build a practical, everyday toolkit to navigate life’s challenges with more ease.
E - Empower
Step Into The Life You Want.
This is about taking what you’ve learned and putting it into action. We’ll help you build on your natural strengths so you can live in a way that truly reflects who you are. You’ll leave therapy trusting yourself more, living by your values, and facing the future with a quiet, steady confidence.
